Jefferson County Fair

Last weekend we went up to the Jefferson County Fair with Sue and Paul. Vann had so much fun seeing all of the animals and watching the mud bog races. Audina was so funny at the mud bogs. Every time the guys would rev their engines, Audina would start grunting. After the fair we headed back to Sue and Paul's for some fresh crab.

It's Been A Long Time

Well I haven't updated my blog in about two years I think. Ok maybe not that long but pretty close. A lot has happened since our last Japan trip. When we got home from Japan I found out I was pregnant. After a year of trying our family was about ready to finally be complete. We later found out we where have a girl. Everyone was excited. I always wanted a boy first and a girl second. We welcomed Audina Rose Michaud into the world at 9:31pm December 27th, 2010. She was beautiful. She weighed 7lbs 8oz, 20 inches long. The first three months were very tough as she was a very colicky baby. It soon got better and better. Audina is now almost 8 months old is very happy. She just learned how to crawl and is into everything.
Vann turned 4 in June and we have had our difficulties as he is definitely testing us these days.
We signed our papers back in October 2010 to start building our new house. They poured the foundation the end of January. We got to move in May 2011. Super exciting. It is so nice to live in a brand new house. We still have not closed on our loan do to a few hiccups but we did lock in our interest rate last week at 4.0%. Any day now and we should sign and be done. Well that is all for now as the kids need me but I will try to start updating more often.

Enoshima Island

Last weekend we went back to Enoshima Island considering the first time we went the weather was not in our favor and we didn't get to do everything we wanted. It was a really nice day. Vann played on the beach for quite a while. After playing we went onto the island and climbed all over the rocks and went in the caves. It was a lot of fun but very tiring. There were a lot of stairs to climb up and down. My legs were killing me by the end of the day. It wouldn't have been that bad but I had to carry Vann a lot of the time and Tony carried the stroller. We had fun anyway.
