I Can't Say No

So yesterday I decided to go to the consignment store to take some things to try to sell. Vann loves going because they have a lot of toys to play with. Once I gave the lady behind the counter the items that I was dropping off Vann and I began to look around. I came across a Bob the Builder pillow. Vann is LOVES Bob the Builder. He was really excited and grabbed the pillow from me and began to walk around with that. We started to walk back up to the front of the store and Vann began yelling Bob Bob Bob. I was try to find what he was yelling about. About that time I looked over and he had the giant Bob the Builder sleeping bag in his hand. I just shook my head and laughed. I thought this thing was the goofiest looking thing I had ever seen. From that time on he would not let go of it he carried it by Bob's neck and drug it around the store. On top of that he wouldn't stop kissing it. I just couldn't say no to him! So Bob is now a part of our family. When we got home Vann gave Bob a good home on the floor in front of the TV. He very proudly crawled in it and had a great big smile on his face as he kept say Bob.

Keeping Busy

Well it has been really hard having Tony gone for the last month but Vann and I are trying to keep busy. Yesterday Vann and I went to toddler story time at the library. I was kind of nervous because we used to go a lot when he was younger but the last time we went he was all over the place. I decided that we would give it another try plus this one was for toddlers and the other one was the baby story time. To my surprise Vann did great. He sat in his own little chair and was very content the entire half and hour. I guess we will be going again next week. I hope we can find some fun activities to do while we are in Japan! Anyway when we were done with story time Vann picked out some books to check out and then we came home for a nap. He loves books, I think we checked out 7-10 books and we have already read them 3-4 times each. I get tired after a while.

Today we met some friends at this great new place on Bainbridge Island. It is called Peacock Playtime. It is an indoor play area for kids up to 6 years old. It costs $5.00 but you can stay as long as you want. They also have art activities for the kids to do. It was a lot of fun. These pictures are from playing today.

Look at Vann

I just thought I would post some pictures and maybe a video or two of Vann so everyone can see how big he is getting. I cant believe it he is already 19 months that two year mark is coming up fast. You would think he is already two by the way he acts. I guess we are going through the terrible twos a little early. Oh well they have to come some time:)
