Saturday we decided to go to another zoo that he had found out about the last time we went to the other zoo. This one was more up towards Yokohama. We had to take two trains and a bus to get there. We got a little lost trying to find the bus terminal because it was not right outside the train station. He had to walk about two and half blocks to find it. We finally made it to the zoo. It is funny we have been to four different zoo's in Japan and none back home. Also each zoo that we have gone to has been so different from all of the others. The verity of animals is different every where we go. This zoo was one of the nicer zoo's and had a lot of different kinds of animals that we hadn't really seen before. Vann of coarse love it as usual. They had a play area half way through that we stopped at and let him play. It was crowded! We only played for about 10 minutes and then decided to go check out more animals. We spent about 3 and half hours and the zoo and by the time we got to the end I was exhausted. It felt like everyone had the same idea to leave at the same time because the bus ride back to the train station was packed. We luckily got a seat. When we made it back to Yokosuka it was about dinner time so we headed to Italian Garden's on base for pizza.
Lunch at KFC. Totally different then ours back home.
On the bus to the zoo.
I told Vann to sit on the curb so that I could take his picture but instead he decided to sit right on the flowers.
This orangutan was quite a ways away from of but it was like as soon as he saw Vann and I he rushed over to us at the Window. It was kind of strange but cool at the same time.
He peeled the entire orange with his teeth before he ate it.
Tony's head doesn't fit very good.
This is Vann pretending he has binoculars.
I saw this on the bus ride back to the train station and had to hurry to get my camera out. (Liz you will appreciate this)
