Adventuring to Japan... Again!

Well the day started off with us saying bye to my sister at the hotel. She stayed the night with us because her school is only 10 minutes away and she would have had to drive out there anyway. After she left we went back to our room to hang out for a little bit and get all of our luggage put back together. We decided to head down to the lobby around 9:20 so that we could catch the 10:00 shuttle bus. When we got down there they asked us if we wanted to take the 9:30 shuttle. We decided that would be okay considering we had a lot of stuff with us. We ended up having 7 checked bags and four carry on's. We managed to get to the airport check-in with plenty of time to spare. We ended up having some lunch before we boarded the plane. Vann met some kids while we were waiting for the plane. He got to run around and play before we had to be cooped up for 10 1/2 hours. We got on the plane and before we could even take off Vann was fast asleep. He slept for the first 2 1/2 hours of the plane ride. That was really nice. He then played and watched Finding Nemo. He did great other than being a little rambunctious. As we began our decent down to Japan Vann happened to fall asleep again. I was so thankful because his ears never do that great on the decent. We made it off the plane and through customs with no problems. We got a cart and started loading all of our luggage up. It didn't all fit so Vann had to pull a bag and Tony had two bags while I had the huge cart full of the bags. We made it to the bus just in time to get the last two spots available. I was so tired by this point. It was so cramped on the bus that I couldn't get comfortable. By this point I has already been awake almost 24 hours. As we approached Yokosuka I was very excited that our night was almost over. When we made it to the base gate an officer came on the bus to check every ones ID of course they told me that my ID would not work. They allowed me on base but we had to have a police escort come and pick us up and take us to pass and ID. I thought our evening was never going to end. When we finished with all of the confusion we tried to load up into a taxi and go to our hotel. Our stuff barley fit. The poor taxi cab driver couldn't even buckle his seat belt. I swearer every time we go somewhere I feel more and more like the Grizwalt's. We finally made it to our hotel. We have a very nice room but no kitchen again. I am glad I brought my crocpot. I will share more room details with you later. I unpacked some of our bathroom items and then got ready to go to bed. Oh yeah and the hotel does a annual power outage for maintenance. It happened to be that night. So from 12:00am-5:00am we had no power. Needless to say I was up by 2:30am with nothing to do. I hate time change and jet lag. I survived and am getting closer to being more adjusted. Vann is already adjusted. It must be nice to be a kid and sleep where ever. Unfortunately Vann has asked several times to go home. It breaks my heart and I just have to keep telling him that this is going to be our home for awhile.
All of our luggage!

Before take off.
Calling my sister to tell her we were getting ready to leave.

Tony trying to take a picture of himself.

He would not take his monkey off his back it was on almost the entire flight.
