Yokohama

Sunday was Tony's only day off so we headed up to Yokohama to walk around and see some things that we didn't get to see last year. When we got off the train we walked through a mall that we had never been to. It had some pretty cool stores. We even found a store that had a lot of things made in the USA. After we finished going through the mall we headed over to the Nissan show room. They had some pretty cool cars there. When we left there we headed towards landmark tower. we found a couple of other places to stop at on the way there including a kids store . It reminded me of a Babies R Us. We then left there to go to another mall over by this big Ferris wheel. It was so busy. Sunday's are the only the Japanese get off. They work six days a week. We didn't spend that much time in that mall. Vann was starting to get very restless so we took him down by the rides and let him ride a couple. He had so much fun. He got to ride Thomas The Train. We then headed back toward Yokosuka to have some dinner. Unfortunately we had to make a pit stop on the way back because Vann's diaper leaked. We ended up buying him a new pair of pants. Finally we made it to Italian Gardens on base and had a Spinach and Bacon pizza. It was really good and Vann loved it.
Vann insisted on wearing this hat that I made.

These are Chevrolet bikes. You can pretty much get any make and model that you want. We saw Hummer bikes, Lamborghini, and Corvette.

These are all strollers that you can buy for your dog. They are obscessed with there dogs over here. They treat them as if they are their kids. There are dog stores full of clothes, beds, toy you name it they have it. They even have doggy day spas. I like dogs but I would never send my dog to a doggy spa. They also have hotels for dogs.
This was some kind of boat tour that you could go on.

At the Nissan show room.
This call you can parallel park because the car moves 360 degrees.
This is one of their handicap vans. Interesting paint job if you ask me. I wonder if that is custom?

Tony in one of his dream cars. Nissan GT-R

As we were leaving the Nissan show room we noticed several people taking a nap in some chairs down on the show room floor. Tony and I thought that it was kind of weird and tacky but they dont even think twice. You see people sleeping all over the place. I guess it is because a lot of people work so far from home that they sleep where ever they can.
We saw this car as we were walking and Vann jumped out of the stroller and said he wanted to get his picture taken.
Farris Wheel in Yokohama. We went on it last year.

Tony thought these trucks were pretty cool since they are solar panal trucks.
I thought that this building design was interesting.
Vann riding Thomas.

Tony saw this boat as we were riding rides. We dont know what it is for but it is very interesting.

I think the kid in the back is a little big for the ride. Don't you think?
