Valenines Day, ChinaTown, Ice Skating

Valentines Day started out with us exchanging gifts. Tony got me a cute box of chocolates. Vann painted daddy a picture (sorry I didn't take a picture of it yet). Tony got all kinds of snack type goodies including a new seat cover for his bike so it doesn't get wet when it rains. After getting ready we headed out to go catch a train to Yokohama. We headed up to Chinatown considering it was the beginning of the Chinese New Year. It was crazy and we could barley make it through the streets. We were planing on meeting up with our friends there later to watch the parade but it was so crazy we just left and walked to down town Yokohama. They called us later as they got into town and we explained to them that we were no longer there. We ended up meeting up at the Ice skating rink to go Ice skating. Vann was so excited. I was kind of affraid that he would get out there and decide that he didn't like it and want to be done. But I was wrong he loved it. In fact he didn't even want Tony or I to help him, he wanted to do it all by himself. He did pretty good. After skating we went and had some dinner and then headed back home. It was a long day.Tony got me this cute box of chocolates for Valentines Day.

Vann with all of his Valentine goodies.

He got some Thomas candy, mickey mouse cookies, and some Thomas juggling balls.

The map of Chinatown.

Roasted chestnuts, mmm... they were good. They were on every street corner.

Manapua, It is a steam bun with different types of fillings. Mostly meat fillings. I got a pork one and Tony has no idea what he got but he said it was good. I don't like the idea of mystery meat. Vann liked it and ate almost all of mine.

All the meat hanging in the window of one of the restaurants.

This man was just walking around with this rabbit on his shoulder. He had a backpack on that was to carry the rabbit in.

Fresh pork rinds
Vann and I enjoying our pork rinds.

Of coarse Vann found a tractor.
This guy was giving people rides all over Yokohama.
This is a bike that they give people rides on.
Tony and Vann checking out some floor chairs in a store. The man working in the store totaly laughed at me as I was taking a picture.
Vann getting ready to step out on the ice for the first time.

The helmet didn't fit very good so we decided to take it off.

Our friend Hans and Oliva skating next to Vann.
Off on his own.
