So after we went to the zoo on Saturday we decided to go back into Yokohama. It was such a nice day we decided to go on the huge ferris wheel. We bought our tickets and went and stood in line for about twenty minutes. As we were standing in line I think Tony started to have doubts about going. He kept saying, "I can't believe we are doing this." I thought I would be the one having the doubts but I was as calm as a cucumber. I kept telling him he would be fine. The funny thing is I hate rides and do not ride rides not even the kiddy ones. Tony loves rides and he is standing here freaking out about a ferris wheel. Well he must of got over his fear because he made it out alive. As we were getting ready to board the huge wheel the staff asked us if we wanted to get our picture taken. We decided to, but we had no idea where to get it when we were done. We would have asked but no one spoke English. I told Tony we would figure it out when we were done with our great adventure. Time to get on. The ferris wheel is so big and it goes very slow so it never stops. You board as it is moving. kind of scary in a way but we all made it on. When you get on its not like the ferris wheels at the fair it is more like a gondola. It is completely enclosed and they even have blankets in there in case it gets cold. So we started our journey up and everything was going great until we were almost to the top and the wheel decides to stop. Then an announcement comes over the loud speaker. It was in Japaneses and I was waiting for the English translation but I never got it. So here we are almost on top of this huge ferris wheel not knowing what is happening. Finally about a minute went by and it started back up. Tony and I think the reason they stopped it was to let a handicap person on. We don't know for sure but it sounded good. The view was great from the top. You wouldn't believe some of the things we saw on top of some of the buildings. One of the buildings had a spa on top of it. Another building had miniature golf on it. It was kind of weird but cool at the same time. When we got off of the ferris wheel we started to walk towards the elevator and noticed that our picture was right by the door. We decided to buy it so that we could keep the memory. It turned out pretty good to. Here are some pictures of us and the great view.
