Wednesday we walked down by the Daei Mall. There is a park down a long the water front that we have yet to go to. It was a gorgeous day. It was about 60 degrees when we were at the park. Not to brag or anything. I know everyone else has been having weird weather lately. You can see a bunch of ships on the base from the park. There also were three subs tied up to one of the docks on base. We got a couple of pictures of some of the Japaneses working and walking on top of the subs. Tony sees subs on a daily basis but I thought it was pretty neat considering I don't get to see a sub very often and then to see three right in front of me.
Vann really enjoyed running and then stopping to look in the water to see if he could see anything. I think one of his favorite things to so while we have been here is to chase pigeons. What ever makes him happy I guess. There was a huge water fountain in the middle of the park. Vann crawled up on the edge to get a better look. I thought for sure that he was going to jump right in. i never know what he is thinking. For all I know he thinks that he can just go swimming when and where ever he wants. When we got done walking around the park we went and got some ice cream from this little place that we had passed by the mall. I had a strawberry cream popsicle. Very tasty I must say. Tony had a mint chocolate ice cream cone and Vann had a custard cup. At least that is what I think it was. He seemed to like it. I will definitely go back and get more. Oh yeah I keep forgetting to tell everyone this so I will tell you all now. When you go to the grocery and buy ice cream the checker asks you if you want something. The first time she asked me I had no clue what she was asking but I said yes. i had no idea what I had agreed to but I soon found out. She wanted to know if I wanted dry ice. They give you dry ice so that your ice cream doesn't melt on the way home. I thought it was kind of cool.
